HLZBLZ is thankful to Vans, for the exclusive anniversary gift, titled ‘Come Together’ in honor of 10 years of HLZBLZ. Serving as a celebration of the two brands and how close they’ve grown through the years as a result of three collaborations spanning five years and five different silhouettes, it’s no surprise the final shoe comes full circle in the form of the iconic Sk8-Hi.
The choice of silhouette is a nod to humble beginnings and budding friendships between brands while staying true to the edgy aesthetic via tonal black suede, leather and hand sprayed nylon. There’s also history behind the back zipper, a featured detail on the first HLZBLZ x Vans collaboration shoe, the Hadley.
Altogether, this exclusive shoe is an homage to all that is, was and will be HLZBLZ & Vans. From shades of attitude to hints of class while tiptoeing the line, these two have never had a problem taking it all and making it come together.
